Bookable Features
The platform opens to professional creators and tour guides. First bookable features are introduced, such as table reservations and public transport tickets.
Q4 2023
First Concept
Joaia’s vision takes shape: combining cultural storytelling with AI to make travel more personal and meaningful.
Q4 2024
Strategic Partnerships
We begin building the real product together with Zurich, Lucerne, Basel, and Grison Tourism as development partners.
Q2 2025
Closed Beta
Launch of the GuideStudio for content creation and knowledge structuring, and the Alpha version of the Joaia app with early guide features.
Q4 2025
Open Beta
We release dashboards, the web plugin, OpenAPI, and launch the Joaia Marketplace with live Local Guides and features for trip preparation and on-trip exploration.
Q2 2024
Prototype Launch
Launch of the first functional app with ChatGPT integration. Over 500 users explored it worldwide and shared feedback to help us improve.
Q4 2026
Shoppable Experiences
We expand to major European destinations and introduce creator-curated experiences that can be discovered and booked directly.
